Image:Pros:- Easy design to clean. - Fits almost anywhere. Cons:- Bars need covering. - Only fits 2-3 rats, not for someone with a large mischief. Overall Rating: 8/10. It's a brilliant cage for the first time owner and spare cage for a rattery.

I've got that cage, but its set out differently. xD Its got two levels combined into one, making two large levels, and its got a third higher level that I made. The girls in that cage love it. XD

I mean the bars along the bottom; it must be unpleasant for little ratties to sit on hard bars all the time. Some people say it also causes bumblefoot but that is a myth. It certainly wouldn't help prevent or heal bumblefoot however.

Ah, I understand now, thought it meant the outside bars.

I allways cover the bars on all levels in newspaper. Helps SO MUCH for cleaning, and I find it stops rust, as long as the newspaper is changed regularly. ^.^

I am experimenting covering in fleece right now. I'm sooooo proud of my girls right now and how quickly they learned to learn the litter box I got them. ^^

I've got that cage. It holds my four adult male rats. I'm saving up for the Ferret Kingdom though (just gotta convince mum into letting me get it!)

Personally, I wouldn't put more than 2 rats in there.

I agree with Cara. I use mine for litters and as a spare. I also have a lone male living in a cage very similar, but it is set out the same as Miz said
