So..I have a question. I'm picking up a female hairless rattie or two if this person emails me back. Can I house 2 females in a 10 gallon screen-lid tank or just one? They are 7 weeks old.

It's not a good idea to house any rat in a tank for a long period of time.

I'm getting the boys a new cage as soon as we get the taxes so I'd most likely be moving the girls to their old one :]

Alright. :] As long as it isn't permanent home.

If they are only 7 weeks and they are only gonna be in there for a short time, I think they would both comfortably fit in there.

only for a short while. Rats should never be housed in an aquarium unless they have kits and even then...keep the timing short. They need fresh air. So maybe like a week or two.
Also a 10 gal is too small for two adults anyway.

A ten gallon isn't big enough for one adult! The longest time i would keep them there would be a week, and that would be with plenty of out time.
