Rat Terms;
Colouring;
Agouti; As known as the wild rat color. Fur ranging from deep dark red to light rusted colours and any shades along the way. Reddish browns, light tans, cream, and black are colours generally mixed in with the fur. This is called "banded." Agoutis have light underbellies usually cream or yellow.
Amber; The pink eyed dilute (PED) version of agouti. A light fawn/orange with pink eyes.
Beige; Warm grayish tan fur. Dark ruby eyes.
Black; Solid black showing no rustiness or white hairs. Eye colour is black.
Blue; Colour is a slate-blue, showing no brown patches or silvering. Eye colour is either black or dark ruby. < -- STILL WORKING ON D<
